This is my best friend, Diane Duncan Ashford.
I will miss her until the day I die. She passed away from cancer on October 10, 2007 at 7 pm. Ray Ashford, her husband survived her.
We had many happy time together and I treasure each and every one of them. I only had about 3 years to get to know her, and I visited her often. She was a happy, warm person who helped me through some hard times (as did her husband, Ray). She always had a smile and a smart mouth that made you laugh...almost every time she talked. She held no punches and was truthful as the day is long.
I was there when they needed me to be, visiting her in the hospital or house sitting with Kasey and Squeeker (dog and cat).
One of these days when I get a book published, I'm going to dedicate a lot to her.
Di, I'll see you Heaven, keep a place for me...love you...
